The number of likes on your social media post.
And the number of comments on it too.
The number of follows you got today.
Plus the number of unfollows that went away.
The number of calories in that piece of cake.
And the number on the scale.
The number of crunches you can do.
The number of times you messed up.
Or the number of times you lost your way.
These numbers don’t matter — but you do.
