A couple of weeks ago, I checked out the Peltzer Pumpkin Patch in Temecula. As you enter the patch, there's a line of old wooden crates filled with pumpkins (called squashes in the USA).
Their variety was huge -- I never knew there were so many kinds!
While mesmerized by their beauty, my mind wandered, while I thought.
"pumpkins are the model pin-up poster for body positivity!!"
1. Pumpkins Know How to Rock Their Body (Pumpkin) Diversity!
The more diverse they are, the more enjoyable they are. There are no two pumpkins the same, and they know how to show it!!
There are lumpy pumpkins, smooth pumpkins, bendy pumpkins, straight pumpkins, and round pumpkins too. Different shapes size and colors, the more, the merrier and the better they are when mixed in together. And a good lesson in showing off our body diversity too!
2. Pumpkins are Oblivious to Their Differences
Because they're pumpkins -- hahaha! But what a great lesson for how it should be? Rather than noticing one, another's differences on the outside, admiring each other's inner-qualities is an excellent way to be.
Yes, the world of pumpkins is a beautiful place for body positivity!
I hope you've got a fun day planned. Maybe a costume or some trick-or-treating too.
