How To Start a smile file

I'm slowly going through posts from my old blog to republish here. This is one that I really like. How to create a smile file.  A smile file is anything you want it to be.  As long as it picks you up and makes you smile when you look at it. Start by creating a folder on your computer, or grab a journal, or even a manilla folder will do. Now whenever you come across something that brings a smile to you, add it in there. Sex, gender-identity and some gender etiquette 

As I was researching today, I came across this youtube video I thought gave a beautiful lesson in gender-identities. It has a great explanation around the spectrum of gender-identities and why respecting gender pronouns are important. Take a look. Welcome to this part of the net.  With a new web site and a new zine to boot. It was a big week last week, I almost bit off more than I could chew.  But happy to say that we're live.
